Change your password from Settings

To change your password while logged in, open the Profile tab, tap Change password, enter your current one, and choose a new one that meets all five on-screen rules.

Applies to: Learner · Group Lead · Company Admin Takes: ~1 minute

To change your Practis password while logged in, open the "Profile" tab and tap "Change password".

Before you start
  • You need your current password. Forgot it? Use How do I reset my password? instead.
  • If you sign in with single sign-on or Google, you don't have a Practis password to change — you sign in through your company or Google account.
Steps
  1. Open the "Profile" tab.
  2. Tap "Change password".
  3. Type your current password in "Enter current password".
  4. Type a new password that meets all five rules shown on screen: "At least 8 characters", "One uppercase letter", "One lowercase letter", "One number", and "One special character (!@#$%^&*)".
  5. Save.
What you'll see

"Password Changed" — "Your password has been updated successfully." You'll use the new password the next time you sign in.

If something goes wrong
  • The save is rejected → check that every rule in the checklist shows as met, and that the current password is right (you).
  • You can't receive email and don't know your current password → a Company Admin can set a temporary password for you with "Set password" on your user page and share it directly; this isn't possible for SSO or Google accounts (them).
